CAE Secures $300 Million Air Force C-130 Training Contract

Under the terms of the deal, CAE will continue to manage the C-130H Aircrew Training System, providing instruction, maintenance, and cybersecurity support for pilots, navigators, and loadmasters. The program currently utilizes nine full-mission simulators and over 45 specialized training devices. These resources support personnel across the U.S. Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard, with operations centered at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas and four additional sites in Georgia, Wyoming, Minnesota, and Missouri.

Srini Dixit, interim vice president of CAE Defense and Security, noted that the company is focused on evolving the training system to match the aircraft's shifting operational requirements. By securing this nine-year extension, CAE solidifies its long-term commitment to maintaining mission readiness for the Air Force’s aging but critical transport fleet.
