The rebranding effort centers on the theme Savor Everyday, moving beyond a simple visual update to emphasize the product's origin. Each wheel is crafted from 100% Sardinian sheep's milk, following traditional methods established by the producer, Prolat Srl. By highlighting the island's unique terroir, the company seeks to distinguish its product from other hard cheeses in a competitive market.
Ian Schuman, Import Business Unit Manager at Schuman Cheese, noted that the update responds to consumer interest in regional stories and transparent production. Alessandro Cubeddu, Vice-President of Sales at Prolat, added that the new look serves to honor the generations of cheesemaking expertise passed down within his family. The rollout of the updated packaging and marketing materials is scheduled to continue throughout 2026 across all digital and retail channels.
