Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lawrence’s Matching Pajamas Draw Criticism

The pair were spotted Wednesday evening arriving at the Four Seasons hotel in glam outfits after eating at The Cut restaurant. Later, they stepped out in matching sets from SKIMS’ festive drop: black two-piece pajamas beneath espresso-colored robes, with their hoods up and matching black sunglasses. Photos shared by Page Six on Instagram showed them walking hand in hand and laughing.

The outing prompted comments about Lawrence’s past criticism of Kourtney. “Lol funny considering she talked mad sh-t about Kourtney,” one commenter wrote. Another said they had thought Lawrence was “cooler than this.” Some commenters also criticized Kim and Khloé for not standing up for Kourtney; others called the outing staged or directed insults at Kim and Lawrence.

The tension dates to November 2025, when Lawrence called Kourtney “more annoying than ever” during a lie detector test and said she “drives her nuts.” In the season 8 premiere of “The Kardashians,” Kourtney said the timing hurt more than the remarks themselves. “It was a really sensitive week when she sent it, and I felt like our show was airing and everybody was ganging up on me,” she said, according to The Blast.

Lawrence later discussed the comments on Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast in January of this year. She said her press quotes can take on a life of their own, citing the headline “Jennifer Lawrence calls Kourtney Kardashian annoying.” She has also said she was no longer keeping up with “The Kardashians” that season, though she had often described the reality series as her happy place.
