Bianca Censori Draws Criticism at Yeezy Show With West’s Children

West reunited with North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm at the Yeezy Season 01 presentation on Wednesday. He shares the children with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian; public appearances with the younger three have been less common than those with North.

Censori wore a beige velour bodysuit with a plunging neckline and matching lace-up boots. The outfit exposed much of her midriff and bust, and a section of tape around her chest was visible as she sat in the front row. She later posed with North, who wore a black outfit and a teal wig.

Social media users criticized Censori’s clothing, with some saying it was inappropriate around the children. One X user asked why the children’s stepmother was “literally half naked” near them, while another wrote, “Why is his wife always half naked? Even around the kids.” Others defended her, arguing that her daring outfits were familiar.

The show was West’s first major fashion presentation since Yeezy Season 9 in October 2022 and his return to the runway after four years. It took place at Yeezy’s flagship store in Los Angeles, where models appeared against a large white hill rather than a conventional runway. Guests included Kid Cudi, Big Sean, King Combs, 2 Chainz, Quenlin Blackwell, Liberty Love and record executive Milo Mitchum. Cudi, who collaborated with West on the 2018 album “Kids See Ghosts,” was seen embracing him.

West previously praised Censori’s role in the family, calling her “the most amazing step mom to our children” in a birthday tribute. Their relationship has also drawn attention amid reports about marital strain: a source told People Magazine that Censori had been unhappy and had tried to leave, while West has said he sought treatment after a depressive episode. In an open letter in The Wall Street Journal, he attributed some of his mental health struggles to a brain injury from a 2002 car accident; in an interview with Vanity Fair, he said a medication change contributed to the episode.
