The judging panel, led by broadcaster Aurie Styla, will select the winners ahead of the ceremony at The HAC in Central London on November 4. This year’s shortlist highlights how established brands are abandoning legacy systems to solve specific operational friction. Ann Summers, for instance, collaborated with PMC to untangle an aging tech stack, while East of England Co-op partnered with Transaction Network Services to eliminate network downtime across 200 sites.
Other entries focus on direct customer-facing improvements. Fortnum & Mason’s 'Fortnum’s Connect' platform has successfully built a high-value client base with average transactions 630% above the company norm. Meanwhile, The Body Shop leveraged GoPlaces to pivot into social commerce, achieving a 15-fold increase in gross merchandise value. Retailers such as MKM Building Supplies and Intersport Elverys are also featured for their respective moves into composable commerce and AI-driven merchandising. The final selection reflects a wider industry trend of moving away from fragmented, multi-vendor setups toward unified, resilient platforms.
