Paris to Host Tech for Retail 2026: Moving AI Beyond Experimentation

More than 15,000 retail decision-makers will converge at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on November 30 for the sixth edition of Tech for Retail. The two-day event shifts the industry conversation from theoretical innovation to the practical, scalable implementation of artificial intelligence across global supply chains and customer experiences.

The summit features a dense schedule of 200 conferences aimed at bridging the gap between digital potential and tangible business outcomes. Carrefour CEO Alexandre Bompard will open the event, followed by insights from leaders at L’Oréal, Vestiaire Collective, and RELEX Solutions. Discussions will center on the evolution of product data as a strategic asset, the mechanics of omnichannel commerce, and the integration of energy-efficient technologies within the augmented store model.

Beyond the headline speakers, the exhibition floor will host over 420 providers and 75 startups, offering a European perspective on retail transformation. Panels are set to tackle diverse challenges ranging from luxury brand reinvention to food retail logistics, with participants including representatives from Grupo DIA, Mercadona, and The Estée Lauder Companies. The event culminates in a series of awards recognizing excellence in innovation and startup growth, highlighting how retailers are navigating new revenue models and regulatory pressures in an increasingly interconnected market.
