The final contenders include industry players like Hanshow, ZigZag, and shopreme, alongside specialized innovators such as Focal Systems, Augmodo, and InnoXR Labs. The entries this year reflect a heavy emphasis on bridging the gap between physical store operations and digital efficiency. Focal Systems, for instance, has scaled its shelf-scanning computer vision to over 1,000 stores, while EDEKA’s collaboration with eyefactive highlights the move toward self-service kiosks at fresh food counters.
Other notable finalists leverage data to solve specific friction points. GrowStocks automates the detection of store-level stockouts that often remain masked by national averages, while Fixit utilizes proprietary GPU infrastructure to provide AI sales support without relying on third-party APIs. Meanwhile, brands like Goddiva and Mys Tyler are pushing the boundaries of AI-enhanced personalization and fit-confidence technology to reduce return rates.
Winners will be revealed on November 4th at The HAC in Central London. The ceremony, hosted by comedian Aurie Styla, will serve as the culmination of a record-breaking year for submissions that demonstrate how automation, computer vision, and agentic commerce are reshaping the retail sector.
