Capricor Therapeutics Investors Face September Deadline in Class Action

Investors who lost more than $100,000 in Capricor Therapeutics stock between December 17, 2025, and July 26, 2026, have until September 28 to apply as lead plaintiffs in a securities class action lawsuit currently pending in the Southern District of California.

The litigation, Nkamga v. Capricor Therapeutics, Inc., centers on allegations that the company and its executives withheld critical information from shareholders. The legal action follows a July 27, 2026, regulatory disclosure revealing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration questioned the validity of data regarding Deramiocel, the firm’s primary product candidate. According to FDA briefing documents, Capricor modified its statistical analysis plan just one day before unblinding study data, a move federal regulators characterized as lacking scientific justification. The FDA concluded that these post-study adjustments rendered the company's efficacy analyses exploratory rather than definitive. Following the release of these findings, Capricor shares dropped 64%, closing at $7.00 per share. Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC is representing the interests of shareholders seeking to address potential violations of federal securities laws stemming from these disclosures.
