The partnership focuses on deploying Master Meter’s suite of ultrasonic sensors and data management tools across Hawaii’s water networks. By leveraging local support from Honua Waterworks, utilities gain direct access to hardware like Sonata and Octave meters, alongside the Allegro AMI system. This collaboration is designed to provide regional providers with the technical oversight necessary to modernize aging infrastructure and better monitor water distribution.
Coby Kleinjan, Senior Vice President at Master Meter, noted that the alignment rests on Honua Waterworks' familiarity with the unique demands of the Hawaiian market. For his part, Kevin Manuel, Vice President of Honua Waterworks, emphasized that the deal bolsters their ability to offer forward-thinking solutions to local communities, helping them improve service delivery and resource protection. Master Meter, a subsidiary of Israel-based Arad LTD, continues to position its IoT-enabled products as essential components for utilities pursuing broader smart city initiatives.
