EchoPark Automotive Expands North Houston Presence with New Location

Baseball legend Roger Clemens will headline a community open house on September 2, marking the official opening of EchoPark Automotive’s relocated North Houston dealership. The new facility, situated at 18310 North Freeway, aims to provide a more accessible car-buying hub for residents in Spring and The Woodlands.

The expansion places the Sonic Automotive subsidiary in one of the region's fastest-growing corridors. By moving to the North Freeway, the company seeks to bring its signature retail model closer to suburban customers while complementing its existing Southwest Freeway site. The new facility features the brand's standard inventory of low-mileage vehicles, each subjected to a 190-point inspection process.

To mark the transition, the dealership is hosting a charitable event in collaboration with the Astros Foundation and the Roger Clemens Foundation. The afternoon will feature a youth baseball equipment drive and the donation of a vehicle to a local Little League coach. For David B. Smith, CEO of Sonic Automotive, the move represents a commitment to maintaining a physical presence in expanding markets where guests live and work.

EchoPark maintains a pricing strategy that aims to undercut competitors by up to $3,000, supported by a trade-in program offering up to $2,000 above market value. According to company president Jeff Dyke, the existing team has transferred to the new site to ensure continuity for returning customers. Guests may visit the new showroom or browse the inventory through the company's digital platform.
