ClassDojo Launches Automated Website Platform for K-12 Districts

With public schools losing approximately 1.8 million students since 2019, districts are facing increased pressure to modernize their digital presence. ClassDojo is responding to this competitive landscape by launching a new website platform designed to synchronize school communications and public-facing pages automatically, reducing administrative overhead for staff.

The new service, ClassDojo Websites, integrates directly with the company’s existing communication platform to ensure that school events, stories, and announcements appear on official sites without the need for manual double-posting. By leveraging CatapultCMS infrastructure and Automattic’s WP Cloud, the system aims to eliminate the issue of stale or inconsistent information that often plagues district portals.

Dr. Chad A. Stevens, head of partnerships and growth at ClassDojo, noted that a district’s website serves as the primary impression for families navigating an increasingly competitive school choice environment. The platform is designed to integrate into existing district workflows rather than requiring a complete digital overhaul, offering a cost-effective alternative to fragmented vendor setups. Beyond content synchronization, the system includes tools to help schools maintain compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards. Following a pilot phase this summer, the platform will see a broader rollout for the 2026–27 academic year.
