Kelley enters the firm following a tenure at an AmLaw 100 practice, where she handled complex, multimillion-dollar litigation. Managing Partner Jay Kelley noted that her background, which includes a top 10 national trial advocacy ranking during her time at Case Western Reserve University, provides the firm with a rare blend of strategic foresight and courtroom presence. Beyond her practice, she continues to serve as the Director of the mock trial program at her alma mater.
Her experience spans federal and state courtrooms, bolstered by previous clerkships with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office Cold Case Unit and the United States Attorney’s Office. At Elk + Elk, she intends to apply her defense-side experience to navigate intricate malpractice claims. The firm, which maintains a multi-state footprint and reports over $2 billion in total client settlements, expects her to immediately bolster their advocacy for injury victims across Ohio.
