Jax Taylor Seeks $17,401 a Month in Spousal Support

Taylor, 47, said in court documents that he is unemployed and has no regular income, alleging Cartwright’s claims that he was abusive have cost him work. The filing also asks the court to remove Cartwright’s authority to make medical decisions for Cruz. Taylor cited what he called “newfound knowledge” of neglect and “unreasonable delays” in the toddler’s medical care and education. The couple announced in 2025 that Cruz had been diagnosed with autism. They announced plans to divorce in 2024; their separation was featured on season 2 of Bravo’s “The Valley.” Taylor said in 2025 that he was pursuing sobriety after more than two decades of cocaine and alcohol addiction.
