Doug Russell, Senior Vice President of the Aerospace and Defense division, noted that the achievement reflects a broader strategy to safeguard sensitive data. The company plans to extend these security protocols to its Inertial Labs product lines, which were integrated into the VIAVI portfolio following a 2025 acquisition. For the Department of Defense, this certification signals that the company’s systems meet the necessary benchmarks to handle federal contract information without compromising national security interests.
