Susan Walker Joins Actabl as Chief Financial Officer

Walker arrives at Actabl with a three-decade track record in financial strategy, most recently serving as CFO at Stack Overflow. Her resume includes leadership tenures at Jumio, Digital Guardian, and Avention, alongside a background as a technology equity analyst at J.P. Morgan. CEO Steven Moore cited her dual expertise in finance and operations as a key factor in her appointment, noting her ability to align with the company’s internal culture and rapid growth trajectory.

In her new position, Walker plans to focus on the tangible application of artificial intelligence within the hotel industry. She identified Actabl’s existing integration of business intelligence and labor management tools as a primary draw, noting that the platform’s role in underpinning daily financial decisions for major hotel portfolios offers a unique competitive advantage. Walker holds an MBA from the Wharton School and was previously named CFO of the Year by the Boston Business Journal. She will now lead Actabl’s finance organization while partnering with executive leadership to refine strategic investments.
