The new handhelds retain the company's patented MultiWave technology while introducing ergonomic handles and medical-grade biocompatible lenses. Each unit offers up to two hours of continuous use on a single charge. The LightStim for Wrinkles, priced at $269, utilizes 72 LEDs across four wavelengths to address skin texture and fine lines, a configuration that achieved improvement in all clinical trial participants. The LightStim for Acne, retailing at $189, employs 60 LEDs in blue and red wavelengths to target inflammatory breakouts without the need for additional chemical treatments.

President Joniann Marchese stated that the transition to wireless design is intended to remove barriers to consistent treatment, allowing users to maintain professional-grade results outside of clinical settings. The devices will be sold through the company's website and major retailers including Nordstrom, REVOLVE, and Dermstore, as well as select spa locations like Massage Envy and Hand & Stone.
