Wayne Zhou, Vice President of Huawei's ISP Computing and Network Infrastructure BU, emphasized that ISPs are now reshaping their business models by integrating edge nodes, computing resources, and APIs. This transition allows asset-heavy providers to monetize capabilities through lightweight, AI-driven services rather than relying solely on traditional data pipelines.
To support this shift, Ado, CEO of Huawei's Wide Area Network Domain, outlined three fundamental network changes driven by agentic AI: the migration from human-to-human connections to agent-based traffic, the surge in massive uplink data demands, and the necessity of assuring experiences across entire agent workflows. Huawei’s proposed architecture addresses these challenges through three strategic pillars: the deployment of a standardized IP+Optical converged infrastructure, the creation of measurable, differentiated service offerings, and the integration of advanced intelligent O&M tools like Network Digital Maps. Industry leaders from Lintasarta Indonesia, SiliconFlow, and Telconet Ecuador joined the discussion to share practical insights, underscoring a collective industry move toward more resilient, service-aware network frameworks.
