USOP Taps Dean Brown to Lead Regional ASC Operations

Brown joins the organization with over 20 years of experience in surgical center development, compliance, and physician alignment. His background includes a tenure as CEO of Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic and roles within HST Pathways, where he focused on operational discipline and financial performance. Co-CEO Allen Anderson noted that the appointment reflects the firm's push to standardize infrastructure as surgical procedures increasingly transition to outpatient settings.

His immediate priority involves the launch of a new facility for Mid State Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, slated for this fall. Beyond this project, Brown will support a pipeline of center openings scheduled through 2028 at partner locations including Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center and SportsMED Orthopedic Surgery & Spine Center. By embedding an experienced operator into the platform, USOP aims to strengthen the connection between clinical care and the financial viability of its surgery centers.
