Blood Cancer United and BeOne Medicines Expand Three-Year Partnership

A fresh $5 million investment from BeOne Medicines will fuel a three-year expansion of patient support services at Blood Cancer United. The collaboration aims to broaden access to educational resources and community programs, targeting a ambitious organizational goal of adding one million years of life to patients by 2040.

The partnership, which builds on $3.2 million in previous funding provided since 2022, focuses on two core initiatives: United for Support and United for Community. These programs are designed to provide personalized guidance for those navigating diagnoses, from chronic lymphocytic leukemia to non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The funding will specifically bolster the Clinical Trial Support Center and enhance the Uniter platform, which integrates patient support directly into healthcare systems to reach individuals earlier in their treatment journey.

Beyond direct medical resources, the collaboration secures BeOne Medicines' role as the National Presenting Sponsor of Survivorship & Hope for the Light The Night event series through 2030. This commitment supports nearly 100 annual gatherings across the United States. E. Anders Kolb, President and CEO of Blood Cancer United, and John V. Oyler, CEO of BeOne Medicines, emphasized that the alliance seeks to move beyond traditional corporate sponsorship by ensuring patient voices actively inform drug development and policy advocacy efforts. This coordinated approach aims to break down treatment barriers while fostering a national network of care for families and caregivers.
