Madrid Acoustics Debuts Continuous Linear Architectural Wood System

Designers seeking an unbroken aesthetic for large-scale interiors now have a new tool: Madrid’s Continuous Linear. By utilizing a proprietary two-part clip system, the manufacturer has eliminated the visual gaps typically found in wood wall and ceiling installations, creating a seamless surface that prioritizes both acoustics and visual flow.

The product arrives as a response to demands for high-end finishes in commercial and hospitality settings. According to Beau Knapp, Madrid’s National Sales Manager, the system strikes a balance between acoustic performance and architectural refinement, specifically targeting projects where complexity during installation often compromises design intent.

Engineers designed the system with versatility in mind, offering both solid wood and MDF cores. The line features 10 standard veneers and eight stains, alongside access to over 200 custom options. With blades measuring 95 inches in length and three standard widths, the product is built to maintain visual continuity across expansive public spaces. Beyond aesthetics, the system meets Class A fire safety standards, ensuring its utility in high-traffic environments where compliance is a critical specification requirement.
