Voltage Energy Debuts Integrated EBOS Systems at Intersolar Europe

At the Intersolar Europe 2026 exhibition in Munich, Voltage Energy Group unveiled a suite of pre-assembled electrical balance-of-system (EBOS) solutions. The company is pivoting from individual wiring products toward integrated architectures designed to streamline the deployment of high-voltage, utility-scale solar projects through simplified, high-capacity electrical layouts.

The company’s flagship LYNX PLUS and IBEX PLUS systems aim to address the logistical bottlenecks currently facing solar developers. By replacing traditional cable-by-cable installation methods with pre-assembled units, Voltage Energy claims to reduce site labor time by 50% and total cable usage by 33%. These efficiency gains are increasingly vital as projects transition toward higher-power, 2kV-ready architectures that require specialized electrical management.

LYNX PLUS targets high-current applications, supporting trunk capacities up to 400 mm2 and 853 A, which eliminates the necessity for traditional combiner boxes. Meanwhile, the IBEX PLUS system addresses medium-current requirements using a flexible aluminum design. This material choice allows for a 41% reduction in weight compared to standard copper cabling and can lower capital expenditure by 27%. According to CTO Bob Slack, the shift toward these integrated systems allows developers to manage tighter project schedules and optimize the long-term levelized cost of energy (LCOE) for large-scale renewable installations.
