Gibbons brings a deep resume in global supply chain and manufacturing transformation to the Houston-based software provider. His career includes leadership roles as Group President of Enterprise Supply Chain at 3M, where he managed operations for the $20 billion manufacturer, and as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Mattel and Starbucks. Innovapptive CEO Sundeep V. Ravande stated that Gibbons’ expertise in aligning human performance with complex industrial technology will be instrumental as the firm works to optimize equipment effectiveness and reduce fixed costs for its clients.
The strategic move focuses on resolving the disconnect between management insights and floor-level execution. Gibbons, who was previously honored as Supply Chain Person of the Year by the University of Maryland, intends to emphasize culture-driven technology shifts that empower workers. He currently serves on the board at Solstice Advanced Materials and maintains an academic background in physics and business administration from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Strathclyde.
