Vicuna Air Extends In-Cabin Pet Flights to Northern Europe

Dogs no longer face the isolation of cargo holds on transatlantic flights between the U.S. and Europe. London-based Vicuna Air has expanded its shared private charter service to include Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Brussels, ensuring every pet remains in the cabin beside its owner throughout the journey on a Gulfstream GV.

The service connects New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles with these new Northern European hubs, building upon existing routes to Paris and London. By selling individual seats on scheduled private jets, the company offers a more accessible alternative to booking an entire aircraft. The model prioritizes companionship over traditional cargo transport, accommodating dogs of all sizes and breeds without the use of crates or separation.

Beyond flight logistics, the company provides end-to-end management of complex international travel requirements. This includes securing USDA health certificates, handling EU entry documentation, and managing customs clearance. Founder Jamie Everett, a former RAF pilot, noted that the expansion targets one of the world's busiest relocation corridors. For clients whose pets must travel alone, the company also offers its 'Biscuit Class' service, which assigns a dedicated concierge to accompany the animal throughout the trip.
