SAiMON Vision Brings AI and Autonomous Tech to NENA 2026

Nearly one-third of public safety answering points currently grapple with significant staffing vacancies, forcing dispatch centers to confront rising call volumes with fewer resources. At the upcoming NENA 2026 Conference in Columbus, SAiMON Vision plans to showcase how artificial intelligence and autonomous systems can bridge this critical operational gap.

The event, scheduled for June 29-30 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, serves as a platform for the company to demonstrate tools designed to shift dispatch centers from reactive models to data-driven operations. By integrating AI-powered analytics into existing computer-aided dispatch platforms, the firm aims to automate the prioritization of emergency events, allowing call-takers to process incoming data with greater speed.

Beyond software, the company is focusing on the integration of robotics to extend the reach of dispatchers. Autonomous systems will provide real-time visual assessments from incident scenes, feeding information directly to control rooms and field personnel before they arrive on-site. General Manager Edgar Ramírez emphasized that the goal is to provide tele-communicators with the situational awareness needed to make split-second decisions. By unifying video intelligence, sensor networks, and dispatch data, these technologies intend to streamline coordination and improve response times across complex public safety environments.
