Stiles and partner Ezra Sosa performed to Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, the iconic track Ledger’s character used to serenade her in the film. Wearing a blue dress reminiscent of her character’s prom attire, the actress moved through choreography that concluded with the film’s famous poem-reading scene playing on screen. The performance moved beyond the stage as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gabrielle Union, Larisa Oleynik, Andrew Keegan, and Susan May Pratt appeared to join her, marking a rare moment for the cast more than two decades after the movie's debut.
The judges rewarded the performance with the pair's highest score of the season, awarding 36 out of 40 points. While the night was defined by nostalgia, it avoided the usual competitive tension; hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro announced that no contestants would be eliminated during this broadcast. The scores from this tribute will instead carry over to next week’s Horror Movie Night, where two couples will face elimination.
