The upcoming opening at 149-151 Oxford Street marks a significant move for the brand as it seeks to capture high-footfall traffic in the West End. Doors will officially open at 10:00 am, with operating hours extending until 10:00 pm from Monday through Saturday, and 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays. This launch follows the earlier opening of a large-scale destination on Charing Cross Road, which spans 5,090 square feet and features a mezzanine level.
While the brand continues to refine its UK presence, it has shifted its strategy by closing its former Soho location. The company maintains multiple touchpoints across London, including dedicated spaces within major retailers like Harrods and Hamleys. According to Ian Ashton, Head of UK Retail at Pop Mart, the expansion serves as a direct response to the growth of the brand’s local community, aiming to provide a dedicated space for collectors to engage with the company's expanding catalog of characters.
