The collaboration links Checkr’s AI-powered platform directly to Workday’s systems, effectively streamlining the verification process for employers who opt into the service. For sectors like mortgage lending, where lenders must confirm borrower data within 10 business days of a note date, this automation promises to remove significant administrative friction.
Daniel Yanisse, CEO of Checkr, noted that the goal is to prevent documentation requirements from becoming a bottleneck during critical life events like buying a home or securing government benefits. Nancy Weitl, vice president of HCM product management at Workday, added that the partnership aims to eliminate redundant paperwork by utilizing data already housed within existing payroll and HR infrastructure. The feature will roll out as part of the Workday Total Benefits solution in late October.
