By integrating remote assistance and AI-driven vision software, the companies aim to streamline operations in sectors ranging from mining and manufacturing to healthcare and defense.
Paul Bailye, Group MD of CommsPlus, highlighted that the collaboration intends to accelerate enterprise XR adoption by combining specialized local channel networks with Vuzix’s wearable technology. Vuzix CEO Paul Travers noted that the move is designed to solidify the company’s platform as the standard for hands-free productivity solutions in the region. The initial shipment of hardware is already underway as the teams begin deploying proof-of-concept programs to support frontline workers.
