Blue Moon Metals Advances Springer Tungsten Project with New Assay Data

The company’s ongoing 18,000-meter relogging campaign is validating historical datasets from the Pershing County facility, which includes a 1,200 tpd flotation plant and an ammonium paratungstate circuit. By testing previously untouched mineralized core, Blue Moon aims to move beyond the selective high-grading practices of the 1970s and 1980s. Recent results from surface drillhole NM-13 and underground hole SU-27 underscore the potential for grade continuity within the broader system, including target areas within the Granodiorite Springer Stock that were previously ignored.

Beyond core analysis, the company has completed a 499-sample program across 28 surface stockpiles to evaluate their viability as early mill feed for 2027. This work is supported by recent LiDAR surveys and the newly granted BLM permit, which allows for exploration drilling across 13 pads on public land. These initiatives represent a shift toward a comprehensive geological reinterpretation of the property, supported by modern QA/QC protocols that were absent during the site’s initial development.
