Omnicom Media Secures Top Spot with $3.3 Billion in H1 Billings

Omnicom Media emerged as the dominant force in global media management during the first half of 2026, securing $3.3 billion in new billings. According to the latest COMvergence New Business Barometer, the group outperformed its peers by leveraging a strategy centered on data, artificial intelligence, and integrated transformation.

The group's performance is anchored by the success of its agency portfolio, with PHD, Hearts United, and OMD claiming three of the top five global spots for total new business. PHD specifically captured the number one ranking, bolstered by a streak of high-profile wins including Adidas, Roku, SkyShowtime, and Xiaomi. Hearts United, the group’s newest agency, also made a significant impact, securing the second position for net new business while maintaining a 69% client retention rate—well above the industry average of 28%.

Omnicom Media CEO Florian Adamski attributes this growth to a rigorous shift in marketer behavior. He noted that clients are moving beyond industry noise, instead stress-testing agency capabilities in analytics and commerce to drive measurable outcomes. This demand for a connected growth ecosystem has translated into a robust roster of regional and global acquisitions, including major accounts like IBM, Bloomberg, and On. The results signal a strategic consolidation for the group, which continues to integrate its identity and commerce assets to meet the evolving requirements of its global client base.
