Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 18% to RMB 7.84 billion, while gross margins nudged upward to 11.78%. Chairwoman Wang Laichun attributed the performance to disciplined investment in engineering and manufacturing efficiency, noting that the company is prioritizing programs with clear technology roadmaps, specifically AI-enabled devices and smart vehicle platforms.
The company’s growth was unevenly distributed across its three core pillars. Automotive electronics saw a massive 274.1% revenue jump to RMB 32.39 billion, bolstered by the integration of Leoni and the mass production of high-speed connectors and steering components. Meanwhile, the communications and data center division grew by 49.7%, driven by the rollout of 800G optical products and liquid-cooling solutions for AI infrastructure. Consumer electronics, the company’s largest segment, grew 19.3% to RMB 122.48 billion as the firm shifted from supplying components toward end-to-end product development.
Financial discipline remained a central focus despite the rapid scaling. Research and development spending climbed 43.1% to RMB 6.57 billion to support programs nearing commercialization. While foreign-exchange fluctuations created a RMB 1.99 billion drag on the balance sheet, the company’s global footprint—spanning over 100 production sites across 29 countries—provided the necessary flexibility to manage supply chain pressures and maintain delivery schedules for its primary customers.
