The service, which launches immediately in London, is slated to roll out across Birmingham, Manchester, and Edinburgh within the next six months. By incorporating the option directly into the Just Eat interface, the company aims to position itself as a comprehensive hub for daily household tasks.
Caroline Bates, Director of Grocery and New Verticals at Just Eat UK, stated that the move addresses the common friction of busy schedules, whether for professional attire or seasonal wardrobe refreshes. Laundryheap CEO Deyan Dimitrov echoed this sentiment, describing the integration as a way to remove tedious chores from the customer’s daily routine. The collaboration represents a strategic push by Just Eat to capture more frequent usage from its existing user base by diversifying the services available on its platform.
