The project, which moved into full deployment this January, represents a significant upgrade to the retailer's in-store technology. The rollout is scheduled for completion this August.
B&M’s internal team highlighted the collaborative nature of the partnership, noting that PMC’s experience in managed IT services was instrumental in navigating the tight implementation window. According to B&M’s David Laithwaite, the project demonstrated a high level of synergy between the retailer's staff and the external service providers. Jake Allmond, Managed Services Director at PMC, added that the new solution is designed to build operational agility, ultimately creating a more seamless environment for both shoppers and store employees.
