Bobcat powers the infrastructure behind the 2026 X Games League

Long before athletes perform gravity-defying stunts, heavy machinery reshapes raw terrain into high-stakes competition stages. As the Official Equipment Partner for the inaugural 2026 MoonPay X Games League, Bobcat Company has provided the compact loaders and excavators required to build the complex dirt courses for this season’s international tour.

The 2026 X Games summer season spanned three major stops—Sacramento, Chiba, and New Orleans—demanding precision engineering to meet the rigorous standards of professional BMX and Moto X athletes. Crews relied on Bobcat’s fleet of compact track loaders, skid-steer loaders, and large wheel loaders to sculpt landings and fine-tune tracks that enabled historic performances, including Ryan Williams’ world-first frontflip cannonball nothing front bikeflip.

Laura Ness Owens, chief marketing officer for Bobcat, noted that the company’s involvement focuses on supporting the technical craftsmanship required to make such feats possible. X Games Chief Revenue Officer Cherie Cohen echoed this sentiment, stating that the partnership ensures venue infrastructure matches the caliber of the athletes. This collaboration highlights a transition for the X Games, which is evolving into a year-round, team-based professional structure known as the X Games League.
