The collaboration leverages Ingram Micro’s extensive network of resellers and system integrators to distribute Hexnode’s Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform. This move addresses a critical spike in digital threats, following data from Indonesia’s National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) that revealed a 714% surge in incidents compared to the previous four-year average.
For local enterprises, the integration promises to simplify the oversight of diverse hardware, including BYOD setups and specialized kiosk devices. Mulia Dewi Karnadi, President Director of Ingram Micro, noted that the distributor will focus on building local technical capabilities to help partners deploy secure, recurring-revenue services. Keith O'Leary, Enterprise Sales Director for Hexnode ASEAN, added that the deal reinforces the company’s commitment to the Indonesian market by scaling access to tools that manage Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices from a single console. The initiative also supports compliance with the country’s Personal Data Protection Law.
