American corporate strength reached an 18-year peak, with 141 U.S. companies securing spots on the list, outpacing Greater China’s 122 firms. Within this American surge, the so-called "Magnificent Seven" tech titans, including Alphabet, Apple, and Nvidia, posted a combined $608 billion in net income. Alphabet led the pack as the world's most profitable company, netting $132 billion. Progress in corporate governance also reached a milestone, with the number of women CEOs hitting a record 34, representing 6.8 percent of the total list, led by executives such as Citigroup’s Jane Fraser and General Motors’ Mary Barra.
