Morrisons Daily scales delivery footprint via Snappy Shopper

Hundreds of Morrisons Daily convenience stores across England and Wales are joining the Snappy Shopper platform, marking a significant expansion of the rapid grocery delivery service. This rollout allows local households to access the full range of Morrisons essentials, including own-brand lines and multibuy promotions, directly through a digital interface.

Orders exceeding £35 currently qualify for free delivery, a move aimed at driving customer adoption after the partnership reported an average order value of £31. Logistics for the service are handled by Nash, with JetGo operating as the primary last-mile fulfillment partner. Beyond the Snappy Shopper app, the technology integration enables these stores to fulfill orders originating from the Foodhub platform, streamlining digital operations for individual retailers.

Mike Callachan, CEO at Snappy Shopper, noted that the expansion stems from strong performance metrics observed during the initial phases of the collaboration. Charlotte Exell, Group Online Director at Morrisons, emphasized that the deployment is intended to simplify access to fresh food and groceries for regional customers. The final stage of this rollout is scheduled for completion by August.
