In Louisville, brothers Rob and Ken Carter secured two successful interventions. After Rob reported a theft at Ken Bowl in February, a lengthy police investigation culminated in an arrest. A month later, staff at their Dixie Bowl location identified a suspicious ambulance attempting to siphon oil. Police disabled the vehicle, resulting in the seizure of the stolen goods and a second arrest.
In Fort Mill, South Carolina, Wing King Café owner Brad Hartley caught a repeat offender in the act on June 8. Having previously spent nearly $2,000 to clean up a spill left by the same vehicle, Hartley alerted local authorities immediately. Officers intercepted the driver, who was found with two full tanks of stolen oil. Mahoney Environmental, a subsidiary of Neste, confirms that both the Carters and Hartley will receive cash rewards for their assistance. The company maintains a dedicated theft prevention team to coordinate with law enforcement, offering varying payouts based on whether the resulting convictions are classified as misdemeanors or felonies.
