Elite Academic Academy Celebrates 92% Graduation Rate

With a graduation rate topping 92%, Elite Academic Academy is redefining the success of non-classroom-based education in California. The public charter network, which serves TK-12 students through virtual and homeschool models, is currently spotlighting three valedictorians whose divergent paths from pediatric medicine to Disney Imagineering highlight the school's personalized approach.

The Class of 2026 marks a significant milestone for the Temecula-based institution. CEO Ashlea Kirkland-Haynes attributes these outcomes to a model that prioritizes flexibility and individualized support, allowing students who may have struggled in traditional environments to find their footing. Beyond the graduation statistics, the school is reporting strong performance metrics, with its Mountain Empire Academy securing high ratings in science, mathematics, and ELA on the California Dashboard.

Three students anchor this year’s success stories. Aaliyah Maciel, a Virtual Academy valedictorian, plans to pursue a career in elementary education, citing the school’s supportive community as pivotal to her growth. Dana Mendoza, also from the Virtual Academy, is headed to Loyola Marymount University to study health and human sciences, with ambitions of becoming a pediatric gastroenterologist. Meanwhile, Homeschool Academy graduate Anders Sue balanced community college coursework with mindfulness training, setting his sights on a future as a Disney Imagineer. These students represent a broader trend of Elite graduates outperforming state and county averages across various academic categories.
