Subaru Details 2025 Impact with $26 Million in Charitable Donations

Subaru of America directed more than $26 million to charitable causes through its 2025 Share the Love event, marking a centerpiece of the automaker’s eighth annual Corporate Impact Report. The company also eliminated 120,000 pounds of single-use plastic from its supply chain while logging 15,000 employee volunteer hours.

The report highlights a year of social and environmental initiatives centered on the company’s Love Promise mission. Beyond national giving, the automaker contributed $1.6 million to non-profits in its hometown of Camden, New Jersey, and diverted over 4,000 pounds of surplus food to local community programs. These efforts earned the brand a top-three spot on Forbes' 2025 Best Brands for Social Impact list.

Operational changes included significant waste reduction, such as recycling 25,000 pounds of paper at headquarters and adopting new clearcoat technology to cut plastic usage in vehicle shipping. On the consumer side, Subaru focused on safety and workplace culture, receiving recognition in Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces lists. Every 2025 model sold in the U.S. now features the brand's EyeSight Driver Assist Technology as standard equipment.
