The new programming features a Guided Photography Program, which provides dedicated instruction for small groups of up to 16 participants. Led by professional photographers, the initiative offers priority positioning on Zodiac excursions and daily image review sessions designed specifically for the lighting and weather challenges of polar environments. Complementing these maritime experiences, the company is debuting Expedition Extensions that allow travelers to visit gateway regions such as Patagonia’s Torres del Paine National Park, Iceland’s volcanic terrain, and wellness retreats in Finland before or after their primary voyage.
Scientific research remains a core component of the upcoming schedule, with Quark committing 470 cruise nights to partners including Penguin Watch and the Friedlaender Lab at UC San Diego. Guests aboard the Antarctic Marine Mammals voyage can participate in whale identification and acoustic studies using portable hydrophones. In the Arctic, the company is adding a new Northwest Passage itinerary, while bringing back the Tundra to Table culinary program, which features Indigenous food traditions developed in partnership with the Greenlandic chef collective Igapall. Public bookings for these departures are now open, with early reservation incentives available for a limited time.
