For the Patels, the transition into franchise ownership represents a long-held ambition to anchor a local business in hospitality. With backgrounds in management, the couple selected the Paris Baguette model specifically to foster a community-focused gathering space. The new café aims to serve as a neighborhood hub, prioritizing a welcoming atmosphere that balances high-quality service with the brand's signature menu.
This opening aligns with an aggressive growth strategy for the company, which now oversees more than 300 locations across North America. Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette, noted that the brand remains committed to its goal of reaching 1,000 locations in the U.S. and Canada by 2030. By partnering with local entrepreneurs like the Patels, the company seeks to re-establish the traditional bakery café as a central pillar of local commerce and social connection.
