Vantiq and MMAA C&C Launch Defense AI Partnership in Korea

Vantiq and MMAA C&C have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to integrate real-time AI orchestration into South Korea's military infrastructure. The collaboration centers on the 2026 Defense AI Roadshow, an initiative designed to gather operational feedback directly from active-duty personnel to refine mission-critical defense systems.

The partnership, formalized on June 18, 2026, at the MMAA C&C headquarters, marks a shift toward field-driven technology development. Rather than traditional showcases, the newly announced roadshow aims to solicit insights from military professionals to address practical challenges in command and control, logistics, and cybersecurity. The companies intend to leverage Vantiq’s AI platform to support manned-unmanned teaming, drone data integration, and edge-computing resilience.

Key technical objectives include improving command and control (C2) capabilities through agentic AI and strengthening security frameworks for edge devices against hybrid threats. Both organizations plan to translate these discussions into proof-of-concept projects, aligning their technical roadmap with the requirements of the South Korean Ministry of National Defense. Vantiq CEO Marty Sprinzen emphasized that modern operations demand systems capable of sensing and acting across distributed environments, while Kevin Lee, Country Manager of Vantiq Korea, noted that the initiative focuses on building business models that provide immediate utility to the armed forces.
