IntelAgree Updates CLM Platform for Global Multilingual Teams

A legal lead in Berlin and a contracts manager in Tampa can now view the same agreement through a single interface, as IntelAgree rolls out multi-language support alongside customizable field labels. The update aims to solve the friction of fragmented regional systems while maintaining a unified source of data.

The Tampa-based CLM provider is expanding its platform to support seven languages, encompassing system notifications, workflow processes, and outputs from its generative AI assistant, Saige Assist. By allowing language preferences to be set at the individual user level, the company intends to eliminate the need for siloed regional instances that often plague multinational enterprises.

Complementing the language update, the platform now allows organizations to rename up to 150 fields and statuses to align with internal nomenclature. This flexibility enables teams to replace default terminology—such as changing "contract" to "agreement"—with labels that mirror their specific business operations. According to Michael Schacter, Director of Product Management, these changes are designed to reduce the cognitive load on legal teams by ensuring the software adapts to the user's workflow rather than forcing teams to map their internal language to a rigid system. The multi-language feature goes live on June 29, with custom labeling tools currently available to all users.
