The scale of the destruction remains immense, with official reports confirming 65 fatalities and over 1,400 injuries. More than 10,000 homes were leveled, and nearly 176,200 families are currently grappling with widespread power outages. In collaboration with local government channels, the initiative is delivering critical resources, including drinking water, hygiene kits, medicines, and child care essentials.
"Behind every damaged home and school are families determined to rebuild," said Peter Karsten, CEO of STARTRADER. The company, which operates as a global multi-asset broker, launched this mission as part of its rebranded social impact program, STARCARES. By coordinating with local partners, the organization aims to stabilize immediate living conditions for those displaced, emphasizing that successful disaster recovery requires a unified response from both the private sector and local institutions.
