This partnership marks a record-breaking financial commitment for Insilico within the Asia-Pacific region, including $18 million in upfront and near-term milestone payments.

Donghoon Lee, CEO of SK Biopharmaceuticals, noted that the collaboration serves as a scalable growth platform, expanding the firm's reach beyond its established epilepsy portfolio. For Insilico, the move highlights the rapid adoption of its AI-driven engine, which typically cuts preclinical discovery timelines to 12–18 months. Both companies aim to address significant patient needs in neurology by merging deep clinical mastery with advanced computational drug design.
