Kerr admitted she seriously considered the offer, even reminiscing about her past runway experiences. However, the prospect of appearing in lingerie at this point in her life triggered an anxiety she could not reconcile through meditation. During an episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she explained that while she felt honored by the invitation, listening to her gut was the only way to resolve the internal conflict. Her decision marked a firm boundary, acknowledging that her career as an Angel belongs to a different era.
Though she sat out the October 18 event, Kerr still engaged with the broadcast, offering her children a glimpse into her professional history. Her absence from the show comes after a notable return to the catwalk for Stella McCartney in late September, a move that proved she remains selective about her appearances. Since stepping back from full-time modeling in 2013, Kerr has focused on her family and her skincare brand, KORA Organics, successfully navigating a transition that balances public presence with a private life shared with her husband, Evan Spiegel, and their children.
