Cohen emphasized that the production team deliberately avoided filming the women during their initial attempts at reconciliation to ensure the peace lasted. Having witnessed previous cycles of conflict and temporary truces, the network waited until the bond proved sustainable. The turning point came at BravoCon 2025, when Gia Giudice shared personal accounts of family gatherings, convincing Cohen that the shift in their relationship was authentic rather than a performance for the cameras.
Gorga noted that the extended time away from the public eye allowed the family to address grievances without the pressure of cameras. While the production is moving forward, the upcoming season will feature a significant cast overhaul. Longtime participants including Margaret Josephs, Jackie Goldschneider, Jennifer Fessler, Rachel Fuda, and Danielle Cabral will not return for the new installment. Alongside Giudice and Gorga, Dolores Catania remains a core member of the ensemble. Cohen described the selection process for the new lineup as a long and winding road, promising a revitalized dynamic when the series returns to the airwaves, likely in 2027.
