The expo floor reflects a maturing ecosystem, moving away from standalone headsets toward integrated spatial computing. A significant highlight is the announcement of XREAL AURA, a 91-gram pair of smart glasses developed with Google and Qualcomm. Utilizing the Snapdragon Reality Elite platform and Android XR, the device aims to bridge the gap between niche enterprise tools and consumer-ready wearables. Alongside this, Snap Inc. is showcasing its new SPECS, emphasizing a shift toward human-centric computing that integrates AI assistance into the user's immediate environment.

Beyond consumer hardware, the event underscores a massive push into industrial and medical applications. Companies like Enovis are demonstrating surgical navigation systems, while platforms such as Aequilibrium and ExpandXR are proving that generative AI can transform training and mental health therapy. The integration of 3D Gaussian Splatting and digital twin technology—featured by players like Allsides, Insight Enterprises, and SpatialGen—is enabling high-fidelity, real-time spatial capture that was previously impossible. By moving toward open standards like the WebSpatial framework, the community is working to dismantle proprietary silos, aiming to ensure that spatial data remains accessible across devices and platforms.
