The new hub will serve as the primary base for the team led by Juan González, Director of Business Development for Latin America. By establishing a permanent physical presence, the company intends to provide localized engineering, project management, and field services that align directly with regional regulatory requirements and time zone demands. Oscar Aira, General Manager for Europe and Latin America, noted that the expansion is a response to the increasing technical sophistication of the Mexican photovoltaic market.
Beyond administrative support, the office is tasked with driving the deployment of advanced solar technologies designed to lower the levelized cost of energy (LCOE). The team will focus on optimizing terrain adaptability and accelerating installation timelines for both utility-scale and distributed generation projects. The company views this as a foundational step toward becoming a primary technology partner for major renewable energy developments in the country, emphasizing a shift toward more resilient and competitive infrastructure.
